Business and Technology Programme
What is the programme?
The Business and Technology Programme delivers cutting-edge technology to Irish farmers. Advisers and specialists, located at over 80 centres throughout Ireland, help farmers maximise prots through improved business management and technical performance, and through the application of the latest results from the Teagasc research programme.
The programme covers the three main farming enterprises:

The programme is open to all full-time and part-time farmers who wish to develop their farming enterprises.

What are the costs of the programme?
The Business and Technology Programme is 50% funded from National Exchequer sources under the National Development Plan (NDP 2007 – 2013). The remaining cost is met by service charges. A full listing of the costs of Teagasc advisory service charges is available online.
