Teagasc Appoints New Administration Director

Teagasc has announced the appointment of Tom Kirley as Director of Administration, with responsibility for the overall management and direction of the organisation's human resources, financial control and information and communications technology services.

From a farming background in Offaly, Tom Kirley has been Head of Advisory services with Teagasc for the past 13 years, and has played a key role in the establishment of new specialised services for the commercial farming sector and for farmers under viability pressure. He replaces Sean Gilroy, who retired from the Director of Administration post last month.
