Teagasc Appoints Quality Service Officer

Teagasc has announced the appointment of Belinda Walsh as Quality Customer Service Officer with responsibility for ensuring the highest level of service in its research, advisory and training activities.

Belinda will lead the development and monitoring of a customer service action plan covering all services to farmers, the food industry and other clients of Teagasc. The plan will set minimum standards in the quality and delivery of services and will involve regular surveys of clients in order to establish satisfaction levels.

From a farming background in Cappagh, outside Dungarvan, Co. Waterford, Belinda is a graduate in agricultural science from UCD. She also holds a Masters degree from UCD and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the University of Limerick. She has worked in the Teagasc advisory and training services in Laois for the past eight years.
