National Tillage Conference 2006

The Teagasc National Tillage Conference will take place in the Dolmen Hotel, Carlow on Thursday 26th January 2006 and will be opened by Ms Mary Coughlin, T.D. Minister for Agriculture and Food. Announcing details, Dr Jimmy Burke, Head of the Teagasc Tillage Research Centre at Oak Park, Carlow said, the conference is taking place against the background of major change in tillage farming and it is vital for producers to carefully assess what type of tillage operation works best in the new post reform environment. The theme of this year’s conference will be “Tillage Farming Post De-Coupling”.
